We offer Japanese-quality vintage items and a pleasant customer service experience to customers, primarily international tourists.

  • Customer service and sales at the store (primarily for international tourists)
  • Merchandise display and store layout
  • Cash register operations and tax exemption procedures
  • Inventory management and inspection
  • SNS operation support (depending on desire and aptitude)
  • Assistance and support with purchasing operations

Shift system, 8 hours of actual work (with breaks)

Salary

● Full-time employee
Monthly salary: From ¥262,000
*Salary will be determined based on experience and ability

● Part-time employee
Kyoto: Hourly wage from ¥1,300
Tokyo: Hourly wage from ¥1,450

Hiring Process

  1. Step 1Application

    Please feel free to apply using the application form on our website or our official LINE account. While previous experience is valued, we prioritize your desire to "make customers smile through fashion" above all else.

  2. STEP2Document screening

    We will conduct a selection based on the information you have submitted. Regardless of the outcome, you will be notified of the results by email or official LINE within 3 business days.

  3. STEP3Interview (1-2 rounds)

    Interviews will be conducted near the store. We'd like to hear about your passion for fashion and what you hope to achieve at SALAMANCA VINTAGE, in a free-flowing discussion with questions interspersed throughout.

  4. STEP4Job Offers and Onboarding

    We will extend an offer of employment once both parties have agreed on the terms and conditions. Your start date can be flexibly adjusted to accommodate your current employment situation. Our entire staff looks forward to welcoming you as our newest team member.

Q&A

Q Is language proficiency required?
A

Not required. Many of our customers are from overseas, so you'll have opportunities to be exposed to languages like English and Chinese, and can gradually pick them up through practical experience.

Q Is it okay if I have no experience?
A

No problem. After joining the company, we will carefully support you with customer service and product knowledge through training and daily operations.

Q Can foreign nationals apply?
A

Yes, you can. If you have a valid visa that permits you to work, you are eligible to apply. We also provide necessary support for working in Japan.

Q Are there rules about clothing or hairstyles?
A

You have a fair amount of freedom as long as it aligns with our brand image. We ask for a clean and presentable style while valuing individuality.
